The Role
The Cleaning Manager leads by example, sets the standard for exceptional cleaning and team leadership, and ensures outstanding client satisfaction through a highly skilled and engaged team. You'll hire, train, and mentor cleaners while building a repeatable training system to ensure consistent excellence across all client homes. Success in this role means aligning team growth, retention, and performance with client satisfaction. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on ownership, loves solving problems, and wants to build and grow alongside the company.

Salary

- You will start with a base salary of $4,000/month.

- Monday-Friday
- Cleans between 8:00AM - 6:00PM

What Success Looks Like
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a repeatable internal training program to ensure consistent quality across all client homes.
- Hire, train, coach, and support cleaning staff.
- Review weekly team performance and conduct regular quality inspections.
- Handle re-cleans and coach team members meet and maintain company standards.
- Maintain strong client relationships and proactively resolve service issues.
- Partner with the Office Manager to optimize schedules, job assignments, and daily operations.
- Step in to clean when team members are out to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Align team retention and client satisfaction through coaching, incentives, and clear expectations.
- Perform high-quality, detailed cleaning, modeling Ivory Pines' standards.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment and enforce all safety protocols.
Results
- Client Satisfaction: Clients consistently rate service 4.8+/5 and continue recurring service.
- Team Retention: High-performing team members are engaged, supported, and retained.
- Reliability: Jobs are completed on time, with less than 2% requiring re-clean.

- Trust & Professionalism: Zero incidents of client complaints regarding respect, safety, or professionalism.

What We Look For
Must-Haves (Required)
- 3+ years of professional residential cleaning.
- Proven experience managing and leading a service team, ideally in cleaning, hospitality, or similar industries.
- Demonstrated ability to hire, train, and retain strong performers, not just fill roles.
- Comfortable creating systems, improving processes and taking ownership.
- Strong client relationship skills, with the ability to communicate professionally, resolve issues, and build long-term trust.
- Highly organized and dependable, able to manage people, schedules, and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to reliably commute to jobs in and around Raleigh, NC.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties (standing, bending, lifting up to 30 lbs).
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Willingness to undergo a background check in line with company policy.
